Kris Reinhard, General Manager
& Partner
Kris enjoys the challenge of leading and developing a creative and professional
staff – the foundation of exceptional events. He began with Fifth Group
Restaurants in 1993 as kitchen manager of South City Kitchen
Midtown
and joined the partnership in 1996. He holds a degree in hotel, restaurant
and institutional management from Pennsylvania State University and also
attended Les Roches, International school of hotel management in Switzerland,
one of the top hospitality management schools in the world. Reinhard currently
serves on the board of the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Todd Annis, Executive Chef
Todd is one of the city’s most talented chefs and has been active in Atlanta’s
culinary scene for more than 15 years. Prior to joining the Bold American
team, Todd enjoyed his teaching role at the Art Institute of Atlanta, where
he instructed in American regional cuisine in his former school’s culinary
division. A member of the American Culinary Federation, he was awarded the
International Award of Excellence in June 1996 and was a Gold Medalist in
the 1995 Battle of Atlanta.
Laurie Smith, Director of Catering
Services
Laurie is responsible for the meticulous levels of service offered at Bold
American. She spent twelve years with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., working
as Department Head and Director at the world-renowned Ritz-Carltons in Naples,
Atlanta and Buckhead. She was selected as part of a special team to train
staff in preparation for the Malcolm Baldridge National Quality Award. In
addition, Laurie served on international hotel opening teams for Hong Kong
and Cancun.
Stacy Zeigler, Director of Sales
Stacy leads the catering sales department in all aspects of event planning
and client relations. She joined us from The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta, where
she worked as Director of Conference Services. A graduate of the University
of Miami, Stacy has been an active member of the National Association of
Catering Executives (NACE) since 2000, where she currently serves on the
National Board as a Director at Large, a position she took after leading
her local Atlanta Chapter to “Chapter of the Year” in 2003. She is also
a member and the co-chair of programs for Les Dames d'Escoffier.
Steve Bales, Creative Director
Steve is responsible for our event concepting, design and production. His
passion is creating extraordinary atmospheres that leave a lasting impression
on each guest. Before joining us, Steve worked in the events industry for
United Way in Atlanta and Indianapolis. He has produced the closing ceremonies
for the Special Olympics Summer Games, the Indianapolis Colts 10th anniversary
celebration, two season premier parties for NBC, the Simply Red Gala for
the Warrick Dunn Foundation and the Atlanta Police Foundation’s Annual Ball,
as well as chairing the Jerusalem House Halloween Ball and the 2007 Allie
Awards. Steve is the recipient of nine Allie awards including best table
top décor, best buffet design, best event décor and best social event. He
was nominated as the 2004 Non-Profit Event Planner of the Year by
Event
Solutions and a 2007 Gala award for best table decor. Steve serves
on the board of directors for the Atlanta Chapter of the International Special
Events Society.
